The Florida League of Mayors (FLM) is holding regional events September 18-19, 2025.
Please see details below and be sure to register for each event.
You are welcome to attend both days, or only one day, depending on what your schedule allows.
These events are open to all Florida Mayors (both FLM members and nonmembers), and you may bring 1 guest.
Your Vice/Deputy Mayor is also invited; please encourage them to participate and they can also bring 1 guest.
A hotel room block is available at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel (1 Seminole Way, Hollywood, FL 33314). The rate is $199 plus $45 resort fee plus tax per night. Contact flm@flcities.com to receive the hotel room block link. The date to reserve your hotel room in the room block is September 4, 2025.

12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Regional Roundtable with Lunch: Stronger Voices, Stronger Leadership: A Mayor's Roundtable
o Location: Green Glades Ranch (21111 SW 16th Street, Weston, FL 33332)
- Facilitator: Steven J. Vancore, President, VancoreJones Communications
- Description: Leading a city means tackling tough issues head-on while keeping the focus on solutions that move communities forward. This roundtable will introduce new resources designed to help mayors do just that—featuring real-life scenarios, strategies for navigating difficult conversations, and practical tips for explaining budgets, growth, and services in ways that truly connect with residents. Facilitated by Steven J. Vancore, a veteran communications strategist, the session will blend practical tools with real-world experiences from fellow mayors—equipping participants with clear, effective approaches to strengthen dialogue and build trust.
